He attempted custom earfoam and silicone covers but found them either uncomfortable or unappealing. After trying these options, he discovered a simpler approach: applying adhesive tape.

The only tools required for this method are a hole puncher and a roll of waterproof 3M tape. The rationale behind choosing waterproof tape is its ability to withstand water exposure and its cost-effectiveness. By punching holes in the tape and placing it at the top and bottom of each earbud, the headphones are secured against slipping.

After applying the tape, the AirPods undergo a subtle transformation, enhancing their stability without compromising aesthetics.
